What is a privacy notice?
Personal data is any information that can be linked to an individual, directly or indirectly, including name, postal address, e-mail address, IP address and telephone number etc.
Purpose of storing personal data
Tokenett AS offers its services to both private individuals and companies, over the phone, via e-mail and chat. The minimum amount of personal data we need to be able to respond to inquiries is name and email address. In order to provide services to our customers, we create customer profiles, and it is for these customer profiles that we collect personal data. Tolkenett AS expects every business customer to have obtained consent from their employees to be registered in our systems.
Who is the data controller?
Tolkenett AS is responsible for the personal data we process in connection with the use of our website and services, or when you come into contact with us in any other way.
The legal basis for the processing
We have a basis for processing personal data in accordance with section 8 of the Personal Data Act and Article 7 of the EU's Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, both because the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill orders and respond to inquiries (section 8 a) of the Personal Data Act and Article 7 b) of the Data Protection Directive).

We collect personal data in the following channels:
Form, email and phone
In order to provide our services, we need basic personal data. In some cases, name and email will be sufficient, in other cases we need more information to be able to assist. This may include address and telephone number.
Web statistics
We use common Internet technologies, including Google Analytics, to collect information about users so that we can always provide the best possible functionality and further develop the information offered on the website. This information is retrieved from the computer's browser and is anonymized. Several examples of what the statistics provide answers to are how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts and which websites users come from.
How do we secure the data?
Tolkenett AS has established rules and procedures for the protection of personal data and privacy. If we disclose your personal data to a third party, we will ensure that there are arrangements and agreements in place to safeguard the data and prevent the third party from using the personal data for purposes other than those agreed. We will use all reasonable precautions to ensure that our employees, and third parties who have access to information about you, have adequate information to ensure that they only process that information in accordance with this policy and our obligations under data protection legislation.
Deletion of personal data
TolkeNett AS has established rules and routines for the deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Information is deleted no later than one year after the user is no longer considered an active user of our website and our services. Personal data related to invoicing is stored in isolation and must be secured for 10 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.
Who do we share information with?
Unless you have given specific consent to the disclosure of personal data, your personal data will only be disclosed to others where this is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations. We also share personal data with our subcontractors, and possibly also with public authorities if there is a statutory disclosure obligation. Personal data sent via the contact form is stored in our web system. The web system and its servers are mainly located in the United States of America (USA).
Your rights
If Tolkenett AS processes personal information about you, you have the right to access your own information. If the personal information is incorrect, incomplete or there is no access to process them, you can also ask Tolkenett AS to correct the information. We do not process and store information about you longer than is necessary for the intended purpose or for what is required in accordance with agreements entered into and not beyond the limits of the law. We delete personal data when a user notifies us that he/she no longer wishes to use the service. Enforcement of this privacy policy
Tolkenett AS may use the information we collect about you when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact, or take legal action against persons or companies that may harm you, us, or others. We may also disclose your information when we believe the law requires it, and as part of payment collection where there are objective reasons.
Consent, choice of law and jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our services and our website. We require users to agree to comply with the policy as part of our relationship.

TolkeNett AS is subject to Norwegian law. You agree that any disputes shall be dealt with by a court in Norway in accordance with the laws of Norway, unless otherwise provided by mandatory local law.
